In the past, the material and heat treatment set the boundries with regard to the service life of screwdriver bits. In 1989, with the "Torsion Bit", Wera the opened the door to innovative, new possibilities for maximizing the tool life. The new BiTorsion bit now goes one step further: By means of a specific tempering process, the hardness of the bits is reduced in the torsion zone.
